Taylor, Mary Margaret (nee Keffer)
Passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at Victoria Village Manor, Barrie.
Mary M. Taylor, of Caledon and Barrie, was born in 1918 in Toronto, to Egbert and Lillie (nee Hall) Keffer. She lived in Caledon most of her life, coming to Barrie in 2008. Mary was pre-deceased by her husband, Albert Gerald Taylor, in 1981.
Mary will be missed by her family, son Gregory (Brenda) Taylor, of Barrie and Greg’s sons Maxwell and Daniel Taylor as well as her son Dr. Brian (Julie) Taylor of Alberta.
Visitation hours are on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie (705) 721-9921.
Her funeral service will take place at St. James Anglican Church in Caledon at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Internment to follow at the Caledon East Public Cemetery.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the nurses and staff of Victoria Village Manor for the excellent care Mary received during her stay there.
