Mary (Molly) Wilson, adored wife of the late John (Jack) Wilson passed away peacefully with family by her side on September 28, 2020. Molly led a well-travelled active life until dementia robbed her of the capacity. Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland in 1923, she met and married Jack in 1946. Together, they worked and travelled in England and then spent 2 years in Bahrain while Dad worked for BP and travelled through Egypt and France on the way back to Ireland. After a time, Dad emigrated to Canada, then Molly with two little daughters in tow followed. Like so many at the time, coming for a new opportunity in Canada, they worked hard, built a home and prospered. Two sons were born in Canada to add to the family and then Dad died in 1974. Mom and sons spent five more years back in Ireland then returned to Canada. She went back to Northern Ireland every year after that until dementia took it’s toll, as a part of her heart was always there along with many relatives. Molly always enjoyed travelling and did a good deal of it but her biggest enjoyment was being with her family and friends. She was a devoted mother to Sharene Cooper (Roy) Midland, Joan Wilson, Sidney, BC, Michael Wilson, Fenelon Falls, David Wilson, Midland. Loved Grandmother of Julia (Michael) Shane (Sheri), Sharene of North Vancouver and Brandon Partridge of North Bay. Precious Great Grandmother of Olivia, Lisle and Tierra of B.C. She will be missed by her faithful friend Maureen of Barrie. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and due to COVID restrictions a burial will take place at a later date.

May the road rise to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face
The rail fall soft upon your fields
And until we meet again
May God hold you in the palm of his hand
My you be in heaven
A full half hour
Afore the devil knows your dead

Condolences
