GRINTON Merry A. (nee Cochrane)
In her 80th year, died peacefully in her sleep at the Royal Victoria Hospital on November 19, 2009 after a long illness. Merry was born to the late Paul T. Cochrane and the late Dorothy (Thompson), she is predeceased by her sister Jean Anne (Ovens). Beloved mother of Kelly (Cozens) of P.E.I., John (Susan) of Barrie and Paul (Geraldine) of P.E.I. Loving Gram to David, Daniel, Scott, Shannon, Shane and Carmen. Great-Grandmother to Cory, Amanda and Ella. Merry was born and raised in Toronto, but was recently of Sandy Cove Acres. She was a graduate of Lawrence Park Collegiate, an avid tennis player, all star softball pitcher, long time member of Whitevale golf club and passionate curler. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street (721-9921) on Tuesday from 12 p.m. until time of service in the Chapel at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations made to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
