Passed peacefully at home on Saturday, January 23rd, 2021 at the age of 76 years. Beloved husband of Betty (nee Jackson) for 47 years. Loving father of Aaron (Jenn), Jade (Jenn) and Logan (Meghann). Proud grandfather of Jordan, Matthew, Mackenzie, Cameron, Sadie and Miles. Predeceased by his parents Lester and Emily Harris (nee Bower) of Shelburne, Nova Scotia. Dear brother of Joan (Charlie) Crise of Pennsylvania and the late Peter Harris. He will be missed by extended family members and many dear friends.
In keeping with Mike’s wishes, cremation has taken place with a celebration of life to occur in the future once Covid-19 restrictions lessen. The family is grateful for the wonderful care Mike received by Dr. Jason Yu, Dr. Christiaan Stevens and staff at the Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre.
