Suddenly but peacefully with his family at his side on Thursday, November 17, 2011, at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, at the age of 63. Michael left behind his one true love Mary Anne. Loving and devoted father of Tracy (Denton), Angela (Casey) and Courtney (Mark). He was the best Papa to 5 perfect grandchildren; Mackenzie, Chloe, Norah, Kale and Layla. Michael is survived by his sister Tish (Henry) and sister in law Pat. Will be missed by his nieces and nephews. Michael was a faithful member of Mapleview Community Church serving on their elder board and has now been promoted to full time service with the Lord. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, 201 Minet's Point Rd., (at Yonge St.), Barrie, on Friday, November 25, 2011, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service at Mapleview Community Church, 300 Mapleview Dr., West, Barrie, on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 2 p.m. with visitation from 1 p.m. until service time.
