Mikita, Michal Modar
Peacefully passed away on July 28, 2018 in his 93rd year at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, Ontario with his family by his side. Beloved husband of the late Gisela Mikita. Loving father of Sandra (Serge Beaulieu), Christine, and Steven (June Esau). Precious grandpa of his only grandchild Julia. He will be sadly missed and forever remembered, we love you with all our hearts. Dear brother of George Mikita (late Fay), and the late Ann Janusik (late Henry) of Cincinnati, Ohio. He will be sadly missed by other family members and many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie, Ontario on Thursday August 2, from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. A celebration of Michal’s life will take place in the chapel of the funeral home the following day, Friday August 3, starting at 11am. Visitation from 10am. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Barrie. Following the interment, a reception will be held back at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home.
