(40 year member of the catholic woman’s league)

Peacefully surrounded by her family at St. Catharines General Hospital on Saturday March 15th, 2014 in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Jack Botman. Dear mother of Mary Alice Comeau (Ray Tokarek), and Gene Botman (Debra). Proud Oma of Jacqueline, Michael (Laina), Sarah, and Christopher. Survived by brother Peter Dol and sister Anne Vanderpost. Sadly missed by Vera Shrubsole-Botman and family. Forever remembered by many other dear family members and friends. Family and friends will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Homes 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Thursday March 20th, 2014 from 2 pm. to 4 pm. and 7 pm. to 9 pm. A celebration of Minnie's life will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday March 21st starting at 11 am. Following a reception, burial will take place at St. Mary's catholic cemetery in Barrie. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association and are greatly appreciated.
