Peacefully at his home in Stroud on Monday, February 6, 2012, in his 87th year. Murray, beloved brother of Jean McEachern, Ross and the late Allan, Ingram, Mae Readman, Miller, Melville, Lloyd, Joy Richardson and Harry. Dear friend of Fred Eastland. Murray is also loved and will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews as well as many friends in the baseball, hockey and church communities. Friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet's Point Rd. on Friday from 5-8 PM and at Stroud Presbyterian Church 2180 Victoria St., Innisfil on Saturday, February 11th from 12 noon until time of Funeral Service at 1 o'clock. Spring interment, Hillsdale Cemetery. If desired, Memorial donations made to the Chase McEachern Tribute Fund, c/o The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Stroud Presbyterian Church.
