Peacefully passed away at his home in Barrie on Thursday, July 11, 2013, in his 83rd year. Murray, beloved husband of 63 years to Bernice (nee Sheppard). Loving father of Glenn (Genia), Bruce (Judy), Brenda McWhinnie (John), Jimmie (Denise), Murray (Corinne), Ted (Erin) and the late infant Nancy Bernice Dean. Cherished grandfather of Jennifer, Lori, Nicole, Laura, Jenna, Spencer, Derek, Stephanie, Jessica, Holly, Caitlin and 6 great grandchildren. Brother of Helen McDougall of Peterborough and dear brother-in-law of Dorothy Jean Denison and Harvey and Marilyn Sheppard. Friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet's Point Rd., Barrie, on Saturday, July 20, 2013, from 2 pm until time of memorial service in the chapel at 3 pm.
