McPHERSON, Myrna (nee Crittenden)

Passed peacefully while surrounded by her family at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on April 19th, 2022 at the age of 88.  Predeceased by her beloved husband Merton (2010), her parents Preston and Marion Crittenden, and her brother Malcolm (Shirley).  Loving mother of Judy MacDonald (Jim), John McPherson (Sonia), and Marsha Moreau (Shawn).  Proud grandmother of Ryan (Ashley), Kristin (Matt), Sarah (Bob), Miles, Lee, Madison, and Charlotte.  Loving great grandmother of Tabitha, Alivia, Keaton, Natalie, Hadley, Owen, Jace, and Calla.  Survived by her brother Harold (Evelyn), and sadly missed by many long-time friends in the Barrie area.

The family will receive friends at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Monday, April 25th, 2022 from 10 A.M. until the time of service in the Chapel at 12 P.M.  Guests are invited to remain for a reception gathering in the Lounge before the family proceeds to Barrie Union Cemetery for the interment.  At the family’s request, masks are required at all times during the visitation and service.  Livestream will be available through Myrna’s online tributes page.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the RVH Integrated Stroke Unit where Myrna spent many years as a dedicated volunteer, and are greatly appreciated by the family.
