Predeceased by her husband Tom and 3 cherished children Paul (in infancy), Carol and Tom.

On a beautiful late summer’s day August 19th 1930 in a small village of Burlington PEI an angel was born. She grew up on her family farm with 4 siblings. She taught school in Long River and soon after left for the big City of Toronto. She met her husband Tom, got married and settled in Toronto where she raised her loving family.
She retired from Woolco now known as Walmart and became the #1 scrabble player. She loved going to Bingo and enjoyed her days at the Casino. Her family always came first. She loved going back to visit her roots where she still has many friends and family.
Her warmth, gentleness, honesty and sense of humor will never be forgotten.
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Saturday, September 28th, 2019 from 12 p.m. until the time of service in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Barrie Hospital for the wonderful care and compassion shown. In lieu of flowers, donations to the RVH Seniors Specialized Care Unit would be greatly appreciated.

Condolences
