Reed, Nancy Evelyn
Nancy passed away peacefully at Leisureworld in Barrie on April 8th 2014 in her 97th year. Predeceased by her husband Ernie. Dear mother of Maureen Landers and her husband Peter and Mary Ellen McLean and her husband John Turner. Beloved grandmother of Kristen (Kevin), Megan (Robert), John (Katie), and Amanda (Jorge). Special great grandmother of Brandon, Benjamin, Kyle, Cara, Evan and Piper. Nancy is survived by her sister, Betty Le Gear of Victoria B.C. and her sister in-law Jean Hill of Toronto. Nancy served her country as a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force during WW II and devoted the remainder of her life to her family. She will be deeply missed. Thank you to Dr. McConvey and the staff at Leisureworld Barrie for their support and care over the last few years. Cremation has taken place and a private interment will take place at Barrie Union Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Homes, Barrie.
