Mullett, Nancy Janette
Peacefully passed away on May 6th, 2014 after a courageous battle with lung cancer at Hospice Simcoe in Barrie, Ontario surrounded by loving family and friends. Nancy was 57 years young and full of life, love and kindness.
Nancy was born in Toronto on August 16, 1956 to James (deceased) and Janet Mullett and is younger sister to Anne and Elizabeth.
Nancy spent most of her working life at Cadillac Fairview Property Management Group in Toronto, and the latter, caring for her aging mother.
Nancy loved animals and anything with animal print on it especially purses and wallets.
Nancy also loved scrapbooking and often made beautiful keepsakes for her friends and family to cherish.
Nancy enjoyed the great outdoors and spent many weekends camping and fishing with friends. She often said the she could be a gypsy and live anywhere and everywhere, such a free spirit!
Nancy is survived by son Sean Sabourin (Jamie), Grandchildren Nola, Memphis, and River, Mother Janet Mullett, Sister’s Anne (Julian) and Elizabeth (Billy), Nieces/Nephew’s David, Christine (John) and Jim (Lorna), and Great nieces/nephews Devin, Jessica, Brandon and Samantha.
A very special Thank You to all of the staff and volunteers at Hospice Simcoe & Dr. Christine Thornton for their comfort and support.
Funeral Services by Nancy’s son Pastor Sean Sabourin to be held at Steckley Gooderham Funeral Home at 30 Worsley Street, Barrie, Ontario on Sunday May 18th. Visitation 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by service.
If desired, for those who wish, donations can be made in Nancy’s memory to Hospice Simcoe, 336 Penetanguishene Road, Barrie, Ontario.
Quote from “Footprints in the Sand” poem:
The Lord replied
“My precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
When you see only one set of footprints,
It was then that I carried you.”

Condolences
