Peacefully surrounded by his family at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Loretta. Dear father of Nick, Mike, Rob (Alesse), Mark (Val), Lisa (Rob), and Laura (Maarten). Proud grandad of 14 grandchildren and great grandad of 5. Survived by brother Val (Betsy). Always loved and remembered by other dear family members. Guests will be received at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie on Friday, November 11, 2016 for visitation from 9am to 10:30am. A mass of Christian burial will follow at Holy Spirit Parish, 650 Essa Road, Barrie, starting at 11am. A reception to follow the mass at Liberty North Banquet Hall, 100 Caplan Avenue, Barrie. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and are greatly appreciated by the family. The family would like to take this opportunity to especially thank the staff at Roberta Place and Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre for all of Nick’s wonderful care.
