Skilliter, Noreen Amelia (Active with the Barrie & District Association of People with Special Needs and past leader with Scouts Canada)
Passed away at her home in Barrie on Tuesday, April 8, 2014, in her 82nd year. Noreen (nee Acton), beloved wife of Gerald. Loving mother of Kim Skilliter (Don Baker) of Barrie, Kelly Skilliter (Kathryn) of Cambridge, Paul Skilliter and Perry Skilliter, both of Barrie. Cherished grandmother of Meagan Wells (Jack) of Nelson, New Zealand, Kevin Skilliter (Anita) and Kyle Skilliter (Isabel), all of Cambridge. Dear sister of the late Rena Bell-Taylor and William Acton. Sister-in-law of Alex Skilliter and Janet “Fae” Howden. She will also be missed by her many step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. In keeping with Noreen's wishes, a private cremation will be held. If desired, memorial donations made to the Humane Society or World Vision would be appreciated.
