Passed peacefully in his 91st year, on Thursday September 17th, 2015, at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor. Cherished father of Craig (Sue), Phillip, Debra (Larry) Nunes, Judy (Michael) Sourlis, and Eric. Sadly missed by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Will be remembered by sister June, brothers Dave (Val), and Ken, as well as dear friend Yvonne. Family and friends will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Road, Barrie, on Monday, September 21st from 7 pm until 9 pm. Service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, September 22nd, at 11 am, followed by a reception. Interment will then take place at the Elgin Mills Cemetery, in Richmond Hill.
