Passed away peacefully on Sunday February 5, 2012 in her 91st year. Olive, beloved wife of 52 years of Bert Baverstock (predeceased). Devoted mother of Brian Baverstock (Donna) and Deborah Beatty. Loving grandmother of Cara Benvenuti (Tyler), Kimberley Marsden, John Beatty (Shelley), Jennifer Horvath (Shane), Glen Thomas, and Regina Kalmykov (Alex). Proud great grandmother of Trinity and Xavier Millson, Paige and Calvin Beatty, Graydon Thomas, Spencer, Ethan, Brady and Olivia Horvath. Olive Baverstock was a very special, caring person and will be missed greatly by all her family, friends and all who had the pleasure of meeting her. Friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Wednesday February 8, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Spring interment St Andrew’s St James Cemetery in Orillia.
