Bell, Olive Leola (nee Meyers). It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother on August 15th, 2009. Reunited in heaven with her cherished husband Donald. She will be greatly missed and eternally loved by her sons John (Tassia) and Doug (Sue) and her grandchildren Nathan, Andrea, Quinton, Gibson and Bronwyn Olivia and her cousin Ruth Hockley. Olive enjoyed 93 wonderful years with her family and friends. She was a devoted member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, a longtime member of the Maycourt Club of Barrie and the Women Missionary Society. Special thanks to Dr. McConvey and the staff at Wood’s Park for their care and compassion and also to Dr. Bruce McTurk. Friends and family will be received at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Rd., Barrie on Tuesday August 18 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. followed by a service to celebrate Olive’s life.
