Passed away peacefully on October 30, 2014 at the Sara Vista Long Term Care Centre in Elmvale, Olive Merain McLean, in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her husband, Lorne McLean of 65 years, brothers Edward White, Leonard White and grandson Douglas Miller. Left to mourn her passing are her children, Lorna (Ken) Brash, Nancy (Don) MacFadyen, Lynn (Brian) Miller, Carole (Clyde) Dorey, eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, sister Joyce Hunt and brother Mervin White. As expressions of sympathy donations in her honor can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Samaritans Purse.
