At the age of 83, at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, Ontario on Monday December 14th, 2009. Survived by his wife Thelma Coutts Dobson and the late Marjorie (nee Cook). Loving father of Edward (Louise), Ian (Susan), Murray (Dianna), Joan (Geoff), Elaine (Brock), and Barbara (Jim). Dear Grampa of Katherine (Mark), Stephen (Sarah), Peter, Cathy, Kelly, Chris, Robyn, Brittany, Matthew, Allison, Tom, Michelle, Broyden, Justin, Greg, Ella and Great Grampa of six. Lovingly remembered by his sister Mabel Maw (Russell) and his sister-in-law Joyce Dobson. Predeceased by his brother Elmer. Funeral Services have taken place at Central United Church, 54 Ross Street, Barrie, on Friday December 18th, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Barrie Union Cemetery.
