Mrs. Pamela Dawn Therese LaForge (nee Trombley) passed away before sunrise on Wednesday, February 22nd, 2017; she always was an early riser. Pam went peacefully with her husband David LaForge at her side, whom she kept organized, well-fed, and very busy for 43 years.

Predeceased by her parents Verna and D’Arcy Trombley. Beloved sister of Sherwood Trombley and his wife Rosemary, the late Jane Trombley and her husband Allan Harrison, and her ally and advocate Gaye Trombley, Pam cherished her many nieces and nephews. Mother to Lianne MacBeth, Joshua LaForge and his partner Tiff Idems, and Jennifer Avery (nee LaForge) and her husband Dale.

Pam will be missed by her colleagues and clients from years of service at RBC, visitors to Avalon Orchards, and by her many friends and extended family members. Knowing her, she wouldn’t want anyone to make a fuss over her passing; too much to do, plans to make, and the bright Spring sun around the corner. A Celebration of Life will be held in the chapel at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minets Point Rd., Barrie, on Monday, February 27, 2017 starting at 1pm. Visitation from 12pm.

Special thanks to the marvelous staff and volunteers at Hospice Simcoe, who made the experience kind and dignified. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Hospice Simcoe in Pam’s honour.
