Peacefully, in his 97th year at Victoria Village, Barrie on September 24th, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Mary Lou for 67 years. Loving father of Dan (Ann), the late Michael, the late James, Margaret (David) and Peter (Ruth). Cherished grandfather of Alana, Jessica, Geneviève, Solange, Shannon, Riley, Eric, and great-grandfather of Maëlle and Everly.
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Saturday, October 14th, 2023 from 10 a.m. until the time we celebrate Peter’s life in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Following the service, guests are invited to remain for a reception luncheon in the Lounge.
If desired, donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada. The family would like to take this opportunity to extend their heartfelt gratitude for the outstanding compassion and dedication provided by all the staff and volunteers at Victoria Village during the six years that Peter was in their care.
