BARKS, Philomena (nee Kelly)
The family of Philomena announces the death of their beloved wife and mother in Barrie, Ontario on June 27. She was born in Kinlough, Co. Leitrim, Eire, on April 3, 1934. She married George Samuel Barks in Derby, Derbyshire, England in 1957. She was the daughter of the late Andrew Kelly and Bridget Kelly (nee Croal) of Kinlough. Philomena was predeceased by her 12 brothers and sisters. The focus of Mom’s life was her loving family. She was never happier than when surrounded by her five children and seven grandchildren. Her children and husband will remember her witty ways and loving care. Beloved mother of Sheila and her husband Randy Cleroux of Sudbury, Stephen Barks and his wife Brenda of Springwater, David Barks and his wife Laura of Midland, Helen and her husband Martin Kuhn of Hillsdale, and Mark Barks and his wife Maria of Barrie. Loving and Loved Nanny of Eve and Sarah Cleroux of Sudbury, Christopher, Andrew and Aaron Barks of Springwater, Michael Barks and his wife Sarah of Barrie, Alex Barks of Midland, and Maeve and Isabella Kuhn of Hillsdale.
