Passed peacefully at Grove Park Home on August 30, 2019 at the age of 92. Loving husband of Antje. Honoured father of Harry (Charlene), Peter (Tammy) and Fred (Alisa). Cherished grandfather of Arianna (Dustin), Tyson, Enya, Noella (Patrick), Joshua and Jared. Survived by his sister Truus Buikema. Predeceased by his parents Henderikus and Dena, as well as his siblings John, Ina, Henk and Harco. Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Friday, September 6th, 2019 from 9 a.m. until the time we celebrate Pieter’s life in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Following the service, guests are invited to remain for a reception gathering in the Lounge.
