Passed away peacefully at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie, on Wednesday February 24th, 2016, at the age of 82. Born at the Topp Killyrammer, County Antrim, Northern Ireland on November 24, 1933. Eldest child of William & Sarah Mills. Survived by her husband James of 62 years. Dear mother of Christopher (Deborah) and loving grandmother of Kara (Nathan) & Kristen. She leaves behind her sister Betty McKee (Bobby) of Larne, Northern Ireland, brother Tom Mills (Linda) of Burlington, and brother Danny Mills (Elizabeth) of Caledon. She is predeceased by her sister Jean Lyons (William) and brother Jim Mills. She is survived by nieces and nephews in Ireland and Canada including Lyndsay (Tony) and great niece Maya Gazzard. Guests will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Road, Barrie, on Tuesday, March 1st from 1 pm until the time of service in the chapel at 2 pm.
