HURST, RANDY Passed away suddenly, yet peacefully, on February 8, 2014, cruising the Caribbean at the age of 57. Loving and faithful husband of Lorraine. Beloved and devoted father to Jamie, David, and Laura, loving and loyal son to Shirley Porter and the late Arthur Hurst, honoured and endeared father-in-law to Luke Razauskas. Very proud grandfather to little Audrey Razauskas. He will be greatly missed by his siblings Gail and Lenny (Debbie), his nieces and nephews, and by countless others whose lives were touched by his generosity of spirit and kind-hearted gentleness. Family and friends will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet's Point Road, Barrie, on Tuesday, February 18th, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday, February 19th, 2014 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church, 14 Centre Street, Scarborough, Ontario, at 2 p.m. with a visitation prior to service at the church from 12-1:30 p.m. Interment will take place on Friday, February 21, 2014 at Thornbury-Clarksburg Union Cemetery, 44 Russell Street West, Blue Mountains, Ontario at 2 p.m. If desired, donations to Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church -Building Fund or Gospel Outreach would be greatly appreciated by the family.
