Raquel Mendoza Arriola-Tran, 43, Barrie, Ontario, entered into eternal life on April 23, 2017 at St. Luke’s Medical Center – Global City. Born August 16, 1973 in Luisiana, Laguna, Philippines, she was a Mathematics High School Teacher. She moved to Barrie Ontario, Canada and worked as a Post Office Manager.
She is survived by her parents Ricardo & Marieta Arriola; her husband, Phong Tran; her children, Veronica (Albert), Ida & Brandon; her step-daughters, Tiffany, Jennifer & Amy; siblings, Roland (Babylyn), Rey (Alleta), Rovelyn (Alberto), Roger (Gina) & Reynante (Kathleen).
A Celebration of Life with Words of Remembrance will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Rd., Barrie on Saturday May 13, 2017 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. The Words of Remembrance will take place at 10:00 am.
