MOSLEY, RAY MYRRL
1925-2015
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 in Barrie, Ontario. Ray was born in Huntsville Ontario, on February 14, 1925. He attended public school there for a short time, moving to Barrie in 1936 where he attended Prince of Wales school and the Barrie District Collegiate Institute. He joined the A.V. RO Company in 1941and worked there for a year helping to build the famous Lancaster Bomber. He joined the R.C.A.F. in 1942 serving with Canada's Eastern Air Command until the end of the war. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Joyce (Irwin) Mosley, two sons, Stephen and Paul of Barrie. Beloved grandfather of Ryan and Jordan. Predeceased by older brothers Jack and Alan, formerly of Huntsville. Ray was the third child of the late Myrrl Mosley and the late Alma F. Graham Mosley of Huntsville and Toronto. He was a nineteen year member of the Sons Of Scotland, Lovat Camp No. 217, serving a number of years on the executive. He and his wife Joyce took an active interest and participation in Scottish Country Dancing. Interment Barrie Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Hospital for Sick Children is requested. At Ray's request no viewing or service will be held.
