Coutts, Reta Marion (née Burman)
Passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday March 9, 2022 in her 94th year with her three loving and devoted daughters by her side. Loving wife of the late Keith Forbes Coutts (2013) for 67 years. Beloved mother of Sandra (Dave Earl), Brenda (Lloyd Ley) and Marilyn. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Tony McQuaid), Jason Ley (Ashley Teeter). Beloved GG of Evan and Nolan McQuaid. Reta will also be missed by her very special niece Margaret Kent whom she adored. Reta is predeceased by her parents John and Margaret (née Percy) Burman, her sisters Jean and Lorraine and sister-in-law Eileen. Special thanks to Cindy Coutts and Krista Perkins for their special care of Mom during her last few months. Family and friends are invited for the public visitation at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St. Barrie, on Saturday March 12, 2022 from 12:30 p.m. till the funeral service in the chapel at 2 p.m. Reception to follow. Private family interment will take place in the spring of 2022. Donations to Diabetes Canada would be gratefully appreciated.
