MARTIN, Richard (Dick) Michael
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dick on November 21, 2009 after a short battle with cancer at the age of 71. Dick, beloved husband of Lois (nee Reid) of 44 years. Loving father of Denise Smith (Rob) and Michelle (Paul). Loving grandpa of Jessica and Rebecca Smith. Will be missed by his furry friends Misty and Natasha. Dear brother of Patricia Shave and Anne Murphy. Predeceased by brother René Martin. Remembered by his many nieces and nephews and friends. Family and friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie, on Friday November 27, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 65 Amelia Street on November 28 at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow at St. Anne’s Catholic Cemetery in Penetanguishene at a later date.
