Peacefully with her family by her side at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie on Saturday December 26 2009. Rilla Gilchrist of Oro Station. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Irving Gilchrist and wife Annie of Manitoba, Kenneth Gilchrist, Karl Gilchrist and wife Lorna, Glen Gilchrist and wife Margaret, Della Wiggins and husband Aikins all of Oro. Special aunt of Shirley Wallbridge and late Daphne Gilchrist, Carol Iles and husband Walter, Wallace Gilchrist, Ruth Jane Abs and husband Monty, Allan Gilchrist, Bruce Wiggins and Wendy, Corine Gray and husband Jim and Daphine Walker and husband Bill and fondly remembered by 10 great nieces and nephews and 11 great great nieces and nephews. Aunt Rilla greatly appreciated the caring support of the neighbours and friends. Friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home Clapperton and Worsley Streets Barrie on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Service in the chapel on Thursday December 31, at 3:00pm.
