Jones, Rita Evelyn (nee Berthelotte)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Rita was surrounded and embraced by loved ones, listening to her favorite songs, when she peacefully passed on March 22, 2014 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in her 71st year. Daughter of the late Leo and Eileen Berthelotte. Loving and attentive wife of 49 years to Bob. Adoring mother to Allison (Stuart) and Paige (Greg). She was the most wonderful grandmother to Sloane. She will be deeply missed by her brother Tom, sisters Fran and Mary, predeceased by her sister Helen. Also missed by her sister in spirit Michelle and her friends of over 50 years Barb and Margo. She leaves behind her beloved Buster the Bassett. The family will receive friends at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie, on Wednesday from 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be at St. Mary's Church, 65 Ameila St. Barrie, on Thursday, March 27, 2014, at 10 am, followed by cremation.
