Maniquet, Robert “Tex”

Peacefully after a short illness on April 29th 2014 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of the late Jean Maniquet. Dear father of Robert Jr. (Dody), Roland (Sheila), and Scott (Carol). Proud Grandpa of Keri, Emily and Christopher. Survived by brother Thomas and sisters Patricia and Mary. Sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and extended family. Always remembered by his Hi-way Church family and the Hi-Way Singers. Family and friends will gather for a celebration of Robert's life at the Hi-Way Pentecostal Church 50 Anne St. North in Barrie on Friday May 2nd, 2014 starting at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert's memory may be made online to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Military Families Fund and are greatly appreciated.
