Simcoe County Auctioneer and former owner of the Elmvale Sales Stables. Victorious in life, Triumphant in death, Archer went to be with his Lord surrounded by loved ones at Hospice Simcoe on March 23, 2012 at age 89. Beloved husband of the late Muriel, loving father of Wendy and her husband Alex Buchnea of Toronto, and Marilyn and her husband Bruce Johnson of Mississauga. Cherished grandfather of Chris, Daniel, Adam and David Buchnea and Jenn Johnson. Hero to sisters Alma Ironside of Penetanguishine and Margaret Colwill of Midland. Friends will be received at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral home 30 Worsley St. Barrie on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.. Funeral service to be held at Collier St. United on Wednesday March 28, 2012 at 11 am. Archer's family gives heartfelt thanks to the 3NB doctors and nursing staff and volunteers at RVH and Hospice Simcoe.
