DANFORD, Robert – Passed away at Royal Victoria Hospital on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the age of 77. Predeceased by his cherished wife of over 40 years Mary (McCormick) and his brother William. Survived by his brother Malcolm and sister Joanne, children Julie-Anne, Joseph (Teresa), Stephen (Judy), John (Ramune) and his seven grandchildren. Bob proudly served his nation for 20 years in the RCAF including a four year posting overseas in France. After the armed forces, Bob went on to a rewarding career in real estate sales and appraisals in Barrie. Many thanks to the compassionate staff and nurses in the cardiac renal unit at RVH.
Friends will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Homes, 30 Worsley St., Barrie, on Thursday, March 21, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. followed by a service in the chapel and light lunch.
