A loving and devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather, Bob passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe on August 28th, 2019 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Donna (nee McConnell), predeceased in 1985. Loving father of John (Katherine) and James (Linda). Cherished grandfather of Nicole Swarts (Sean), Jessica, Joshua (Kissondra), Jeffery, and great grandfather of Sydney, Caleb and Danica. His lifetime of achievements and pleasures are far too numerous to list. He assuredly left a lasting impression and will be sadly missed by all those he met, helped and loved.
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday, September 4th from 9 a.m. until the time we celebrate Bob’s life in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Following the service, guests are invited to a reception gathering in the Lounge before the family proceeds to Barrie Union Cemetery for the interment.
