Passed peacefully at Hospice Simcoe in Barrie on Wednesday, September 26th, 2018 at the age of 79. Loving husband of Estelle for 60 years. Honoured father of David (Rhonda), Brian (Vivienne), Gary (Ronda) and Sharyn (Rob). Cherished grandpa of Shawn, Amanda, Joshua, Marissa, Nicholas, Lianne, Liam, Delya and great grandpa of Graydon, Emily, Connor and Nevaeh. Will be sadly missed by step grandchildren, Ryan, Sharley, and step great grandchild Keira. Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Friday, October 5th, 2018 from 11:30 am until the time we celebrate Robert’s life in the Chapel at 12 pm. Following the service, guests are invited to a reception luncheon at Lions Gate Banquet Centre, 386 Blake Street, Barrie.
