HAMMELL, Robert Allen
Passed peacefully on Friday October 2nd, 2015, at Royal Victoria Hospital in his 67th year. Beloved husband of Mary (predeceased). Honoured father of Kimberley Hammell (Aaron Hawkins) and Lisa Fields (Tyler). Loving brother to Larry (predeceased), Phil, Patricia Flannigan and Beverly White. Cherished grandfather to Austin and Hunter Hawkins, and Greyson Fields. Brother-in-law to Margret “Maggie” Cryer (predeceased) and William Jr. “Billy” Chapman. Son-in-law to William Sr. Chapman (predeceased) and Lois Chapman. And will be sadly missed by many amazing nieces and nephews, his dear friends in the “hood” and many great, lifelong friends, hunting companions, the Bell Canada family and the South Simcoe Police family. Guests will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Road, Barrie on Wednesday October 7th, from 7pm until 9pm and on Thursday October 8th from 10am until the time we celebrate Robert's life in the chapel at 11am. A reception luncheon will follow in the lounge. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Program.
