Suddenly at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie on Wednesday July 6, 2011 in his 68th year. Roger, beloved husband of Claire (nee Talon), Loving father of Richard (Emily) and Corey (Michelle) Cherished grandfather of Meghan, Taylor, Amanda, Duncan and Erich. Dear brother of Joan Smith (John). Pre-deceased by his parents; Dorothy and Frank, sisters; Rene and Jean and brother; Frank Jr.
He will be greatly missed by other family and many friends. Cremation will be followed by family receiving friends at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St. on Saturday July 9th from 12 noon until time of a Celebration of Roger's Life in the chapel at 1 o'clock. If desired, memorial donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
