Ronald George GUBB, It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald Gubb on Sunday, February 15th 2015 at the age of 85. He was a loving husband to Pauline Bernadette Gubb (Laframboise) of 63 yrs. He is survived by 5 children: Rhonda Thompson (fiancé David Masters) of Toronto, Kevin (Trisha Bristow) of Cochrane, Diane Mulryan (Michael) of Timmins, Karen Scott (Peter) of Thunder Bay, Susan Keeping (Kory) of Barrie. He has 11 grandchildren: Christopher Thompson, Patrick Thompson (deceased), Trisha Cooke (Michael), Kendal Thompson, Chastity Duguay, Christopher Duguay, Brent Duguay (Leslie), Scott Gubb, Sarah Gubb, Samantha Reid (Mark) and Rebecca Scott. And 8 great grandchildren: Kaiya, Rius, & Ronan Cooke, Alyssa Charlton-Thompson, Darian, Kiana, Keiran & Kayden Duguay
Ron enjoyed a great career of 42 years with Ontario Northland Railway, in both North Bay and Timmins. He loved entertaining at his cottage and hosting fish frys from the fish he caught. He will be deeply missed by family and friends.
Services will be held at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home 30 Worsley Street Barrie, at 1 pm on Thursday 19 February 2015.
