Suddenly at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie, on Tuesday January 13th, 2015 in his 85th year. Predeceased by wife, Dorothy (2002). Husband and best friend of Joan Stimers. Dear father of Janice MacMillan (Domenic), Muriel Putman (John), Donna Winn (Mark), and John Noiles (Nikki). Step-father of Karen Stimers, and Rob Stimers (Illana). Proud and loving grandpa of 13 and great-grandpa of 3. Survived by brothers Con and David. Will be sadly missed by many family members and friends. Ron was a past member of Copestone Masonic Lodge, Welland as well as a past Shriner. In addition, he was the current treasurer of I.O.O.F., Barrie. Friends will be received at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, 201 Minet’s Point Road, Barrie, on Monday January 19th from 11am until the time of the service in the chapel at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ronald’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice. Condolences and memories may be forwarded through www.steckleygooderham.com Cremation has taken place. Internment to follow in the spring at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Fonthill, Ontario.
