Stephens: Ross Allan (Former Owner – Stephens Store for Men)
Passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday September 27, 2011 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of Muriel for 58 years. Dear brother of James, Mary and the late Douglas and Margaret. Uncle Ross will be fondly remembered by Robert and his wife Lori June, Douglas, Nancy and her husband Gerry, Mary-Anne, Sharon, Bill and by the rest of his nieces, nephews and their families. Ross was a longtime City Councillor, 60 year member of the Kiwanis Club of Barrie, Member of Masonic Lodge – Kerr Lodge, and Sheba Shrine Club. Friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie from 2-4 p.m. Sunday. A Memorial Service will be held at Collier St. United Church, 112 Collier St., on Monday October 3, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. If desired, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
