Passed away peacefully at St. Peter's Hospital, Hamilton, on Friday, November 15, 2013, at the age of 59. Roy, beloved father of Alicia Elliston (Jeremy Johnson), Shannon Elliston (Don Doyle) and grandfather of Wesley and Seth Johnson and Logan Doyle. Cherished son of Mary Elliston and the late Gordon Elliston. Loved partner of Lara Alexander and the late Janice Jones. Dear brother of Gord, Frank and Steven Elliston and Jewel McLean. He will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie, on Wednesday from 6-9 pm. Funeral service in the chapel on Thursday, November 21, 2013, at 1 pm. Interment at Barrie Union Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the charity of you choice.
