Suddenly passed away while surrounded by his family and friends on the lake where he was living his dream, on Sunday, July 2nd, 2017 at the age of 67. Beloved husband of Betty Ann for 47 years. Honoured father of George (Marian), Darlene (Tony), Greg (Melissa) and Jeff (Jessica). Will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Alyssa, Claire, Rachel, Royce, Tyler, Austin and Cole, as well as many life-long friends. Visitation will be held at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie, on Thursday, July 6th, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, with service taking place on Friday, July 7th at 12 pm in the Chapel. Following the service, guests are invited to remain for a reception luncheon in the Lounge before the family proceeds to the cemetery for interment. If desired, donations in Royce’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and are greatly appreciated by the family.
