Peacefully passed away at 4:10 a.m. on Thursday, November 28th, 2019 at the age of 89 years. Daughter of the late John and Mae Reynolds. Beloved wife for 42 years of the late Kenneth Cox (2019). Loving mother of Dennis Butler (Sheila), Catherine Butler, Susan Cousins (David), Laurie Parris, and the late Steven Butler (2004) (late Wilfred); and step-mother of Bonnie Zacour (Bob), Ken Cox (Marlene), Pat Donaldson (late Paul), Denise Benner (late Colin), late Elizabeth Cox. Cherished grandmother of Nicole, Damian, Peter, Luke, Michael, James, Sara, Charlie, Adam, Ryan, Vanessa, James, Laurie, Matthew, Cristina, Melissa, Jacqiline, Scott, Jonathan, Shirah, the late Heather, and also remembered by several great grandchildren. Sister of the late Earl, James, Jewel, and Wellington. Ruby was a long time employee at the Woolworth store in downtown Barrie and a 26 year volunteer at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre. Ruby was also a devoted member of the Collier St. United Church and held the title of President of the U.C.W. for 17 years from 1994-2011. Friends will be received at the Collier St. United Church, 112 Collier St, Barrie on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2019, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Service at 11 a.m. Cremation.
