WONCH, Ruby Ilene, passed away peacefully at the IOOF Nursing Home in Barrie, ON on Wednesday, Nov 13, 2014.
Ilene Wonch (Maiel) beloved wife of the late Wesley (Wes) Wonch, dear sister of the late Dorothy Mason, loving aunt to Buddy Wonch (Melody), Sandra Wright (late Russell), Doug Mason and the late Bill Mason of Arizona. She will be sadly missed by her cousin and friend Lucille Demerling. She will also be missed by her great nieces and nephews; Alexander, Brendt, Holly Wonch, and their families and Greg, David and Darlene Wright and their families.
Ilene was a generous volunteer along with Joyce and Roy Tillotson at Sunnybrooke Veterans Hospital. Ilene and Wes were ardent members of the Willowdale Lawn Bowling Association. Friends may call at the Steckley Gooderham Funeral Home (201 Minets Point Road) Barrie on Monday, November 17th from 12pm until the time of the service in the chapel at 1pm.
