ABERCROMBIE, Ruth Jean (nee Myers)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ruth on Sunday, January 9, 2011, at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, Ontario. Ruth was in her eighties. She will be sadly missed by her husband of over fifty years Aber. Survived by her brother Peter Myers of Barrie, Ontario, nephew Rene LeCollier (Jane), and grand kids, Patty, Michael and Matthew. Family and friends will be received at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie, Ontario on Tuesday, January 11, 2011, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment will be held at Barrie Union Cemetery in the spring.
