It is with a profound sense of loss that we announce the sudden passing of Ryan Tran on Sunday, July 23rd, 2017 at the age of 21. Cherished son of his very proud parents, Vinh and Trang Tran. Loving brother of Sidney. Sadly missed by his paternal grandparents Tam and Nam Tran and maternal grandparents Tai Tran and Diep Truong, his aunts, uncles, cousins and by a great many close friends. Ryan is a recent DalComm graduate with upstanding academic and leadership contributions at the Rowe School of Business, Dalhousie Commerce Society Council and the Dal DECA Executive. His hard work paid off as he had his dream job lined up on Bay St with an offer from TD Bank waiting for him to start after completing his 4-week European adventure. Visitation will be held at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Rd., Barrie on Friday, July 28th, 2017 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, with a celebration of Ryan’s life taking place in the Chapel on Saturday, July 29th at 11 am. Following the service, guests are invited to remain for a reception luncheon in the Lounge.
