Peacefully passed at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, May 22nd, 2024 at the age of 77 years. Beloved wife of the late Peter. Loving mother of Lisa Specht (Don) and the late Roy Metcalf. Grammy to Scott Metcalf of Nova Scotia, Tyler Dorion of Barrie, Nicholas Metcalf of Barrie and Shannyn Dorion (Elias) of Barrie. Fondly remembered by Cody Specht and Madison Specht, and Ivy and Willow. Great Grammy to Scarlett Barnes, Peter Metcalf, Cailin Montagnese, Eve Metcalf, and Violet San Pedro. Dear sister of Allan Campbell (the late Marilyn), Carolyn Asselstine (Paul), Douglas Campbell (Ruth) and the late Malcolm Campbell (the late Bonny). Predeceased by her parents Hazel and Bill Campbell. Will be missed by many extended family members and dear friends.
In keeping with Sherry’s wishes cremation has taken place with arrangements entrusted to the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie.
A celebration of life for Peter Metcalf and Sherry Metcalf will be held on June 22, 2024 from 1:30 - 3:30 pm at the ANAF Hall, 52 Morrow Rd., Barrie. The family hopes to see you there to help remember them and share memories of their lives.
