Shawn Ricardo Rochester, born October 16, 1974, passed suddenly on October 23, 2018 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie at the age of 44. Beloved husband of Joan (Scherese) Rochester and father of his pride and joy Tyler Ethen Rochester. Loving son of Donald and Lorna (Myron). Dear son-in-law of Monica and Carl. Beloved brother of Sharleen, Tamera, Meleciah, Claudine, Miguel, Marvin, Gary, Dwayne and Michael. Brother-in-law of Carl, Dave and Kiran. Dear nephew of Ann Marie, Patricia, Beverly, Norma, Neville and Errol. Proud uncle of Jahnai, Jahkayla, Jahziah, Isaih, Justin, Remiel, Janay, Tyrese, Noah, Abigail and Maliah. Dear godfather of River, Jr Antonio and Donnell. Will be dearly missed by his boss and dear friend Robert (Angie). Will be dearly missed by close friends Karen, Pearline, Andrew, Bryan, Andrew, Delmore, Frank, Vahid and many more. Will be missed by many extended family members.
Guests will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St, Barrie on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 11 am until the time of the funeral service at 12 pm inside the Chapel. Interment to follow at Innisvale Cemetery, 7551 5th Sideroad, Innisfil. Reception to follow the internment at the Innisfil Community Church.
